International tourism makes you genuinely happy

Indeed, most people are sitting on the couch and looking at their phones after work. When they are at work, they sit in front of computers and looking at the screen. Lack of movement may lead to poor mental health. Yet international tourism offers a great opportunity to look after your happiness and wellbeing.

  • The reality of youngsters’ mental health status in New Zealand and Australia isn’t ideal.

If your children are teenagers, you may want to watch their mental health status because statistics show that smartphones are not good for youngsters’ mental wellbeing.

For example, in the jungle you see a tiger; however, the tiger has not seen you yet; therefore, you are so scared and do not know what to do, and then a few seconds later all you know is to run. On the other hand, if you deal with things that are not dangerous in your life, and your anxiety is going to the extreme, you may have anxiety. According to scientific research, people who experienced wars, disasters and diseases will remain strong and healthy without mental disorders if they have coping strategies. In contrast, others may face the same difficulty, yet they do not have coping resources. Therefore, they may have mental disorders. Actually, you can develop these coping skills by yourself; you can treat your anxiety until it is gone. Truthfully, there are several ways to cope with anxiety: The first coping strategy is if you feel not ready enough for something, you need to make a decision quickly; otherwise, you are wasting your time. The second coping skill is to forgive yourself, because people who have anxiety will always think about their mistakes in life; therefore, forgiveness is powerful. The last coping skill is always having purposes and meaning in your life: if you find your life purposes and meaning, you will not feel lonely and meaningless.

international tourism

  • International tourism expands your outlook and alleviates your anxiety.

Anxiety is a very rational emotion in the sense; nonetheless, in fact there probably is not as much threat as individuals think. Normally, many adolescents worry about things a lot when they feel threatened or worry that something bad might happen. Anxiety becomes a disorder when individuals get stuck in certain self-reinforcing cycles, which means they think they are doing the right things appropriately to reduce their anxiety. For example, teenagers who have anxiety do not talk to other people. However, unfortunately, in the long term, those things are going to reinforce fear. Sometimes individuals who have anxiety will insist their idea and always refuse to take treatment. In this situation, family members can help the person to deal with anxiety by encouraging in some logical and reasonable ways. At this point, it is very important to let them know that anxiety can be treated. If people can work with psychologists or psychiatrists, they can really make their life better and happier.

Another solution is international tourism because when someone goes to another country, it’s a bit easier to see a different perspective in this world, thereby feeling better.

Truthfully, anxiety is like hopelessness, irrationality, experiencing debilitation and generally feeling worried. It is very normal to have anxiety in New Zealand, about one person has anxiety in every 14 persons. Anxiety issues generally fall into 4 categories: generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety disorder, panic disorder and specific phobias. An anxiety condition is not developed by one factor, as it could be developed by a combination of things, such as genetic inheritance by family, or in other factors it could be a difficult life experience and physical health. As for personal factors, a teenager who is a perfectionist, or someone who lacks self-esteem always has a high chance to have anxiety.

“Changing your environment means changing your mindset. That’s why international tourism has been proven to be helpful when it comes to alleviating mental health problems such as depression and anxiety.”
