Odesa

Odesa, the third-largest city in Ukraine, is one of the most significant Black Sea port cities. The city, which is also Ukraine’s biggest port, is notable for its diverse business relationships, trade activities, and seasonal tourism.

Odesa is one of the most well-known cultural hubs in the nation and offers a wide range of places of interest, including museums, architectural structures, theaters, and universities.

Odessa is in the south of the country and shares borders with Moldova in the west and Romania in the south. It has been an important city throughout history due to its advantageous location.

A trip of two or three days to Odesa will be adequate if you view it as both cultural and natural tourism. Additionally, you can go to the city during festival times.

Where to go?

  1. Derybasivska Main Street

One of the busiest streets in the city, Derybasivska Street, is lined with hotels, cafes, eateries, and boutiques.

  1. Pymorsky Boulevard

The well-known Pymorsky Boulevard is a wonderful location for long walks and in-depth city exploration. A former stock exchange building, the Aleksandr Pushkin monument, and a number of memorials can all be found on the boulevard. The Vorontsov House is also located precisely in this area.

  1. The Potemkin Steps

Potemkin Steps, a location in numerous significant motion pictures, is unquestionably worth a visit. One of the top ten most amazing staircases in Europe is the extraordinary 192-step construction. With a beautiful view as you descend the steps, you can quickly arrive at the port area.

  1. The Duke de Richelieu statue

Your next visit might be the Duke De Richelieu Monument, which is situated directly above the Potemkin Stairs. The monument honoring Richelieu, the city of Odesa’s first ruler, is situated in the heart of the city.

  1. Memorial to Orange

On Zhvanetsky Avenue, the Monument to Orange is one of the buildings that immediately catches the eye. It has a remarkable tale that you don’t want to miss out on.

When to come?

Odesa can be very cold in winter (-20 degrees). What’s more, the city has very little rainfall each year. Odesa experiences a very mild and hot summer despite having a chilly winter. The best season to visit Odesa is between June and September. Up until October, the city may have extremely hot weather. In the summer, the temperature can reach 42C degrees.

Day Four

  • 7- 10 a.m. – Breakfast at the hotel and leisure time on your own
  • 10:30 a.m. – Tour the ancient city of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi highlights by the visit to the Akkerman Fortressfrom the Middle Ages
  • 2:30 p.m. – Lunch at restaurant of your choice (recommendations provided)
  • 4:00 p.m. – Tour of Odessa mansions, Vorontsov Palace, and Odessa catacombs under the art museum
  • 6:30 p.m. – Dinner at restaurant of your choice (recommendations provided)
  • 9:30 p.m. – Travel back to your hotel

Day Five

  • 7- 10 a.m. – Breakfast at the hotel and leisure time on your own
  • 10-12 p.m. – If time permits, you can explore the local shops and enjoy a final lunch in beautiful Odessa
  • 12-2 p.m. – Return travel to the airport will be coordinated around your departure flight, and the taxi driver will deliver you to the airport according to personal trip details
