I’ve been to many wellness resorts around the world, and my favorite is a wellness resort in Mexico that I visited recently. In this blog post, I’ll explain why it’s the best.
- The wellness resort in Mexico is a fabulous cabana on the beach.
It’s a fantastic cabana where I had my own bedroom and shared the wellness resort with 4 like-minded friends.
I love the beautiful sunrise and sunset views from the villa. Every morning, I started my day with yoga and ate a healthy breakfast: mushrooms, tomatoes, toast, avocado, eggs and a glass of apple juice.
From 8am to 12pm, we focused on our work. Everybody in this group is location-independent because we are digital nomads. We only worked for 4 hours every day. We held each other accountable.
After lunch, we got a facial and a massage. Then we had a long walk on the beach.
Of course, everyone was wearing sunscreen and a hat because protection is necessary in the sun.

- The highlight of the retreat:
After dinner, we became a mastermind group – we spent 2 hours discussing what we are trying to manifest and supporting each other with helpful ideas.
It’s very important to have an effective support network because no one can make it alone. We all need help from supportive people around us.
During our discussion, I shared the importance of setting realistic goals and having specific rituals that can help me achieve each goal. While I thought my input was great, my friend Alicia shared something very different: Instead of setting goals, we would be well-advised to establish a new identity, i.e., ask yourself, “Who do I want to be?” Then become that person!
What values do you need to have in order to make your dreams come true? Have those values now!
At the end of the retreat, my little notebook has a new identity statement and a range of values that I must have from now on in it. That’s definitely the highlight of this experience.
“The wellness resort in Mexico is best characterized by white sand, the soothing sound of ocean waves, pretty rose petals and very relaxing candles.”
