I went to New Zealand many years ago; my conclusion is New Zealand is the biggest garden in the world. Indeed, it’s the most phenomenal garden I have ever seen.
Auckland is a big city inside a huge garden.
Everywhere I go in Auckland has a beautiful view.
The cityscape itself is pretty, which is different from most big cities around the world.
For instance, if you go to Tokyo or Hong Kong, you would see some very modern architecture in its cityscape.
But in Auckland, all I wanted to say is “This is so pretty” because the modern architecture is mixed with natural elements such as trees, flowers and grass almost everywhere.
This is quite unusual: Because Auckland is a major city, it has luxury stores that are surrounded by green trees and red flowers – these are all an organic part of the city landscape.
Only a few minutes from those luxury stores, there is a massive open space where I saw green grass and blue ocean. This is almost surreal. The air is extremely fresh and refreshing.
“New Zealand is the most beautiful country in the world,” I said to my mom, “This is true.”
“But you’ve only been to 4 countries,” my mom was wondering how I got that conclusion, “How can you say that?”
Yes, at that time I was young and inexperienced. But after visiting many more countries during recent years, I still strongly believe that New Zealand is the most beautiful country in the entire world.
This is a fact: New Zealand is best characterized by its modern theme and natural resources. No wonder The Lord of the Rings had the amazing scenery from New Zealand in it: In New Zealand there are many forests that haven’t been touched by human beings yet; they are still in their ancient and original form.
That’s why the movie industry needs New Zealand.

New Zealand and Australia are very similar in many ways.
“You’ve lived in Australia, so when you go to New Zealand, you’ll notice that New Zealand is pretty much the same as Australia is so many ways,” says Star, a friend of mine, “If you like Australia, you will also like New Zealand.”
What she told me is true. New Zealand and Australia have a lot of things in common. For instance, ANZ is one of the biggest 4 banks in Australia; it’s also in New Zealand. Supermarkets in New Zealand operate exactly like supermarkets in Australia.
When I was in New Zealand, I met some friends from the United States who had difficulty understanding the New Zealand accent, so I was translating for them (as I lived in Australia before and the Australian accent isn’t too different from the New Zealand accent).
Australia also combines modern architecture with natural elements, but New Zealand is more dainty, more elegant, more delicate, more artistic and more picturesque.
“New Zealand is characterized by friendly people, modern architecture, beautiful nature and abundant resources.”
